Feather Boy is about a boy called Robert who gets bullied by the ‘tough-guy’ in his class. Robert’s school is part of a community programme in which pupils must find out about the history of the elderly person they are placed with. Robert is placed with a grumpy old woman who asks him to visit a strange old house, which changes his life forever.
The best part about Feather Boy is that the writer leaves a lot of questions un-answered which helps build the readers curiosity and encourages them to keep reading. This book is very entertaining and well written, which makes it very hard to put down. Although the book seems quite spooky to start with, it doesn’t carry on that way so don’t let it put you off! I would definitely recommend this book.
