The Chronicles of Ancient Darkness is a series of books set 6,000 years ago in the Stone Age.
After his father is killed by a demon bear in the first book- ‘WOLF BROTHER’, Torak is forced to flee into the forest to survive by himself. Along the way he meets Wolf, a wolf, and Renn, a member of the Raven Clan. Together they uncover the truth about what needs to be done to rid the forest of the bear. But can they do it in time?
In the next book- ‘SPIRIT WALKER’, a deadly wave of sickness engulfs the forest clans, leading Torak to search for the elusive cure. The search takes him to the Seal Islands, where he meets Tenris, the Seal mage, who claims that he has found a cure. Torak is desperate, but what will it cost him?
‘SOUL EATER’, the third book, takes a new sinister twist, when Wolf goes missing. Torak and Renn’s journey to find him takes them to the Far North, the realm of the Ice Bear. Will they find Wolf in this eerie winter wonderland? And just who has taken him?
The fourth book- ‘OUTCAST’, sees Torak become just that, cast out by the clans. With no one to help him, and the clans mercilessly hunting him, will he survive as an out cast? Meanwhile, a Soul Eater draws nearer…
The Chronicles Of Ancient Darkness is an excellent series, and I would recommend it to everyone aged 9+.
