It seemed as though it was only yesterday when that dreadful thing happened even though it was a year ago. I was just a normal person and I was doing anthing a normal person would. It was then that the Shadow started to come after me. At times I would just be relaxing outside then that …..thing would creep up on me and try to smother me. I had so many close enconters with death that sometimes I just wanted to give up on life to make it easier, to put me out of my suffering. But I knew I could’nt give up, that would just be giving the Shadow what it wanted, so that it could prove that I was weak. I would’nt give up, not this time. I was going to stand up to it. That was if it did’nt kill me first……
