He likes playing football and doing things with his Friends, passing notes around in class and strangley loves spiders. Then one day, his best friend ’steve’ gets tickets for a banned freak show and Darren starts experiencing things that no normal child would imagine. At the Freak show he sees a limb-chewing wolf man, a woman who can grow a beard out of know where, a snake boy and a goat eating giant spider called madame Octa . But what about the strange people in blue hooded robes whose faces are never seen? And is Mr crepsley really a vampire?
